    Default Crash immediately upon startup

    Hi, guys:

Just got my self a copy of Inssider as an alternative to Stumbler, but I can't make it run.

It crashes the moment it starts. This is an XP laptop, at SP2 with .NET 2.0 and 3.0 installed. Wireless adapter is a Broadcom (I'd have to go look up which G chipset it is) . The error report the app wants to send looks like this:

    [Message]
Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    [Version] 1.0.7.0129

    [WinVer]
Microsoft Windows NT 5.1.2600 Service Pack 2

    [StackTrace]
    at Inssider.NdisWirelessInterface.GetWirelessDetails( )
    at Inssider.ScannerForm.ScanNetworks

Help! I'd really like to use this... any ideas? Thanks...

We'll be releasing a new version in the next couple of days that will more gracefully handle these types of errors. In your particular case, it appears that* the NDIS driver is not returning the BSSID list.

    Hi, Steve:

Awesome. I'll wait patiently for an update. In the meantime, is there anything I can do to help you guys, such as providing more hardware or driver details? Be glad to look at the adaptor and see what part is stuck on it.

Thanks for your help and efforts, it's appreciated!
