Hi,
We configure our radios to 5Ghz and sometimes we use midband 52, 56, 60 and 64. Can Wi-Spy detect any radar signals on those channels so that will gives us some indication to avoid those channels?
Thanks

The Wi-Spy can definitely detect radar, but it does not have built in DFS. I believe any access point in the united states is required to have Dynamic Frequency Selection, and they should somehow avoid the radar. But as most Wi-Spy owners can add their voice, it doesn't work well.
I've given you a screenshot of the lower band. Full Size Image

In united states it is difficult to to detect the radar ...
Because they are using a high definition radars with the upgraded latest technologies....And they will never allow general public to interfere in there personal and governmental matters...
