I have a question... would a wifi security camera, like the Cisco 2500 series, look like regular wifi data traffic?

No, a security camera would probably be a fairly narrow spike or three adjoined spikes, with the middle spike longer. See the PIR Security Device and A/V Transmitter signatures in Chanalyzer 4 or Pro.

I have seen several video signals using the Wi-Spy, but from the description of the Cisco 2500, it looks like it is transmitting with regular Wi-Fi signals.

Swann ADW 300 Camera signature and Ookla speed test results from about 8 feet from single camera and receiver set.

The test results between 11:29 and 11:31 were taken while the camera/receiver set was turned off. The set was reoriented to have less strong of a signal where the test client was after they were turned back on so there wasn't such an impact on test speeds.
