Thread: 404 error trying to access inSSIDer Source

  1. #1

Exclamation 404 error trying to access inSSIDer Source

On the http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider page the http link to the SVN repository reports a 404 error.
    The link provided is http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider

I tried a few variations on spelling but all == fail.

I don't know what happened to the SVN either, besides the inSSIDer 1 codebase is depreciated.
inSSIDer 2 should be released sometime soon(maybe ), and it is open source too.

I would suggest waiting until then. If you really want the inSSIDer 1 code, I still have it on my computer and can zip it up for you.

    Thanks for the reply Tyler.

It seems a bit disingenuous to not have the source available freely to anyone if you are calling the application OpenSource. I would like the source 'depreciated' or not, provided you wouldn't object to my hosting it in a Sourceforge project so that anyone would have easy access to it. Frankly despite the 'beta' state of the 2.0 version, that source should be available as well. That is once again if the application is truly open source as is claimed on the website.

If the source(s) are more than 10M zipped, let me know and I'll PM you an email account that doesn't have a mail size limitation on it.

The SVN is down because of a recent server move, and it isn't set back up.
We will probably put the inSSIDer 1 sources back up sometime soon, so there is no need to host the project on Sourceforge.

I'm sorry, it looks like the change I made was reverted. It is back up. We have moved inSSIDer's source to GitHub here:
