    Talking Help with mapping Access Points.

    Hello all,

    I am very new to inSSIDer and would like some assistance mapping out some local hot spots in my area. I am using inSSIDer 2.0 and a BU-353 USB GPS. Currently my gps is configured as such:
    Port: Com4 (I know this much is correct)
    Baud rate: 4400 (also tried 4800 and 38,400, same result)
    Stop bits: 1
    Data bits: 8
    Handshake: None
    Parity: None
    The process, if I understand it correctly, is to first start the GPS after configuring, then start the logging and once you have moved around some to get the longs and lats to change, then you stop logging stop the gps, and then use the convert to KML function.
    My problem is that once its converted to KML nothing shows up in the files. For instance when I look in the comprehensive all i get is the following:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
        <name>Comprehensive Data</name>
    When I select for the conversion to split each access point into it's own kml, the AP folder that is outputted is empty. Here is a picture of the configuration settings:

    Operating System: Win 7 32bit
    I hope I provided enough information. Thanks in advance!

    I think there is a bug in the Comprehensive KML export, try the Summary export. Summary will put a marker at the strongest point (and if there are a lot of strong points, it will average their position).

    If that doesn't work, try unchecking all Data Quality options.
