Thread: What causes the peaks?

    Default What causes the peaks?

I have attached a timeline of my local landscape. I am connected to the centre (white) line that averages around -60dB. All the other APs in the area seem to be a much lower amplitude but occasionally they have spikes that shoot up to -0db (blue, yellow and red). What causes this? I cant seem to get my own line to peak like that. Could this be the reason fior the occasional hangs and disconnects that I am experiencing? Any help would be appreciated.

The peaks are the WiFi adapter mis-reporting the RSSI levels. It shouldn't have an effect on your WiFi's performance.
