    I ran across something that was causing the same issue. It turned out that it was caused by a 3rd Party Internet Security application. This application was stopping Chanalyzer from talking to the Wireless network cards driver. If you are running such a security application. Try disabling it and then starting Chanalyzer. If it works there should be a way to add Chanalyzer as an exception.

    This message is also displayed when no wireless networks are detected even when the adapter is running. With a single adapter that is already running this message is rather confusing.
