Have you configured the GPS in inSSIDer? (Click File, then Configure GPS)

Also, could you try the build attached to this post?: http://www.metageek.net/forums/showt...5229#post15229

    Thanks.

    Hmm, Ok:

    1) What is the brand and model number of the GPS adapter are you using?
    2) What are the COM/serial port settings you use for it in inSSIDer?

Sorry, everything should be working...but it isn't.
    One more thing to try:

Use PuTTY (If you don't have it, download it here: http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~s.../download.html) to open the serial port you tell inSSIDer to open (with inSSSIDer closed) using the same settings (baud rate, etc.).
Do you see information spilling out to the console? Some of data should start with "GPGGA" or "GPRMC"

    something like this?

i dont know if it will help or not, but i paste the inssider.exe.config file:
maybe you can find any eventual errors.

it seems there's no value with the "gpsSerialPort" line. isnt'it?
can i manually edit this file?

edit: well, cant wait, i did it, i wrote "<value>COM3</value>" but still dont works
