As far as RSSI goes, there isn't exactly a "minimum" but there are good and bad RSSI's. This might help you:

    -30dBm = Awesome
    -60dBm = Good
    -80dBm = Meh
    -90dBm = Bad

    Hey Stephen,

Maybe you should make this a "Sticky" and / or include it in the
    "help" file of common questions/issues.

Thsi question has been asked previously.

btw. how are you going with that project?

    cheers

I actually have quite a bit done on the inSSIDer help file. It's coming a long quite nicely and I'll make sure to add this in there

    Mayim,

This is great, thanks! I edited it a bit and added it to the inSSIDer user guide
