Thread: What happened to x64 version of inSSIDer?

Question What happened to x64 version of inSSIDer?

    Hello,

I'm using 64-bit Windows 7, and after updating inSSIDer to version 2.1, I've noticed, that it's 32-bit... Is version 2.07.0126 last native 64-bit inSSIDer? And if so, why?

    Keep up the good work,

The latest installer actually determines if you are 32-bit or 64-bit and installs correctly. So the latest installer is actually both.

I did a clean download and install of inSSIDer recently. My system is x64, but the software was installed in the Program Files (x86) folder.

    Thanks for reply.

I thought so, but as @ua549 said, on my 64-bit Windows 7 it installs by default in the x86 folder, and the Task Manager says "inSSIDer.exe *32". With version 2.07.0126 it's just "inSSIDer.exe".
