Default Can Chanalyzer capture Mac Address of Bluetooth device?

I have a Bluetooth device that has been enable to pairing mode. What I want to know is can Chanalyzer capture the Mac Address of this Bluetooth device and save into the wsx database?

    Hi cheekeongho,

Wi-Spy is a spectrum analyzer, so it only sees layer 1, which is raw radio frequency activity. To find the MAC address of another Bluetooth device, you might be able to do it in Linux with software such as bluez, or perhaps with the Ubertooth One, which is an open-source Bluetooth security auditing tool, if I remember correctly. Be warned, the documentation and support for bluez in Linux is pretty bad. Good luck on your search!
