    Default Strange spectrum on 5gHz?

    Hi all,

    I am kinda new to this spectrum analasys so I hope someone can help clarify a few things for me.
    My boss bought a Chanalyzer and I took it home to learn more about it and to learn how to use it.


    I was looking at my home wifi to learn this spectrum analasys and ran into this:

    Seems like my cisco wap371 is only using half the range it is set to use?
    It is set to use Channel 56, but should it not be filling up the channels 48 to 66??

    Can someone explain to me why it is only using half the bandwidth?

    The primary channel assigned is 20 MHz wide. Additional channels (bandwidth) is dynamically assigned by the AP on a best efforts basis up to the amount configured.
