Thread: Eye P.A and .cap files from OpenWRT

Default Eye P.A and .cap files from OpenWRT

    So
I have a few OpenWRT routers, dual band-and using airmon-ng and tcpdump on the CLI, I can put the radios into monitor (mon0) mode. I successfully get .cap files, which when viewed in Wireshark, have the radiotap headers. However, when I open them up in Eye P.A, they dont appear. Any idea why they wouldn't show, when Wireshark shows them to be ok?

    Cheers

Try saving them as "pcap-ng" with Wireshark, and then use Eye P.A. to open them up. Let me know if that works or not!
