    Hi,
    First time posting here,

    Any toughts on this interference snippet, anyone seen something like this before?

    Hi Fredrikp,

    Thanks for posting! That looks like out-of-band interference, or interference from a device that is unintentionally causing interference in the 2.4 GHz band. The first thing I would check is your laptop. I had a laptop with a 2.4 GHz processor that caused a similar signature (although not this loud) towards the top of the band. Try moving the Wi-Spy away from your laptop with a longer USB cable, or testing it with a different laptop altogether. You could also take the laptop to another location (like home) to see if the signature is visible there too.

    If it doesn't seem to be tied to your laptop, then I would start thinking about other out-of-band interferers such as cell towers and heavy industrial equipment. This knowledgebase article talks about out-of-band interference and might be of some help.
